The Killer and the Star adalah project solo Scooter Ward, frontman band Cold. sebelum dirilis worlwide 14 July kemarin, self titled album ini sempat dirilis dtahun lalu dengan title Series of Emetion.for release in the fall of 2008.
Lagunya sendiri sebenarnya bukan tipikal seorang Ward, yah namanya juga project solo, lebih menggambarkan sisi lain dari sang kreator.
It Starts When You Fall adalah lagu yang gelap, dengan lirik yang lirih namun menyentuh

September nanti bisa jadi babak baru untuk Eddie Vedder cs di Pearl Jam, bukan apa-apa, dalam rilis terbaru, band Seattle ini mengumumkan album studio ke 9 mereka bertitel 'Backspacer' akan dirilis tanpa label!!
Brendan O'Brien sendiri masih berdiri di pos produser selain Eddie Vedder sendiri.
'The Fixer', lagu 'pembangkit' semangat yang lebih ngepop dari lusinan 'hits' gelap Pearl Jam dipilih sebagai 1st single.

Linkin Park bubar? belum ada statemen resmi dari managemen band tersebut, but, Chester Bennington sudah melangkah lebih jauh dengan mengumumkan band barunya : Dead By Sunrise..
Dead By Sunrise! side project dari Vokalis Linkin Park, Chester Bennington. Debut albumnya 'Out Of Ashes rencana rilis pada akhir Agustus mendatang. Dead By Sunrise beranggotakan Chester di Vocal, Ryan Shuck di Gitar, Amir Derakh (Band Orgy / Julien-K) di gitar, Brandon Belsky di bass, Elias Anda (Julien-K) di drum dan Anthony Valvic di Keyboard. Album ini di rekam di Los Angeles dibawah Produser Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Daughtry, Creed).

Paramore

US rock band Paramore tengah bersiap untuk merilis album ke-3 mereka "Brand New Eyes" pada 29 September nanti.
Sophomore album "Riot" memang melambungkan mereka tinggi, dan mereka berharap sama dengan album baru mereka nanti.
Single pertama dari album itu adalah sebuah track alternative rock uptempo bertitel "Ignorance" yang direkam oleh Rob Cavallo di Hidden Hills California.

"Monuments and Melodies" adalah kompilasi pertama yang dirilis Incubus, album set nya 2 CD, rilis pada 16 Juni 2009.

Disc 1 berisi 13 lagu terbaik dari album 'Make Yourself', 'Morning View', 'A Crow Left of the Murder...', dan 'Light Grenades', termasuk 2 lagu baru "Black Heart Inertia" dan "Midnight Swim" yang diproduseri oleh Brendan O'Brien.

Disc 2 berisi koleksi band dari rarities, B-sides, soundtrack cuts, alternate versions, dan 3 lagu yang belum dirilis dan 1 lagu cover miliknya Prince "Let's Go Crazy".

"Monuments and Melodies" adalah salah satu lagu Incubus yang pernah dimuat di B-sides nya "Megalomaniac".

The Used telah memberi konfirmasi bahwa studio album mereka akan rilis 1 Septemebr nanti. Album yang pengerjaannya telah dimulai sejak Juni 2008 silam akan diberi titel 'Artwork'.

Albumnya sendiri diproduseri oleh Matt Squire yang pernah menggarap All Time Low, Panic at the Disco, Boys Like Girls dan Thrice. Album ini juga penanda debut Squire setelah di 3 album sebelumnya, the Used ditangani oleh John Feldmann, serta juga debut Dan Whiteside yang sudah ngisi post drum sejak 2006 silam.

'Blood on my hands' 1st single segera dirilis secara digital pada 14 Juli nanti.

The Whitest Boy Alive sendiri dulunya memulai karir dengan proyekan electronic dance tahun 2003 di Berlin, debut album sebagai indie pop band adalah 'Dreams' yang rilis 21 Juni 2006.

July 2007, Modular Records merilis album mereka ke UK dan mulailah karir internasional meraka sampai sekarang.
